CONGRATULATIONS!!! It’s odd, but we do have different bodies that react differently and we both want different things. As someone who’s struggled severely with disordered eating for several years and is just now trying to work through it, I hid my restriction as a young teen for a long while under the guise of healthiness. Graphs on graphs on graphs on graphs. You’ll forever be my favorite blogger <3. And you’ve inspired me to start my own 90 day journey. Also, such comments that you and many others make can be extremely triggering for people, especially young girls, with low self-esteem, or even disordered eating issues. (Not that it’s wrong that you gain weight, and I’m not judging, just curious how you prepare your mind for after the 90 days). Very well done! You are so inspiring! I have been following and was so excited for you. And I’d like to say something on the subject of triggers. It’s really inspiring to see someone want to change and improve (both inside and out)and stick to it! You’ve always been a huge inspiration for me, I adore your workouts and personality. As a long term follower (since 2011/2012), I can’t even tell you how happy I am to see you go on this journey and come out of it you again. I look up to you and love you and everything you do so much. I applaud you for being open about your struggles, but to say Cassey wasn’t transparent or that she’s measuring “meaningless factors” is unfair and untrue; she didn’t hide a thing and she put that data out there to show the actual path her physical body took. After I took out the dairy, I would get hungry at 3pm or 4pm and started eating junk food After eating loads of junk food and not working out, I started eating vegan yogurt with granola for my afternoon snack and got back on track. Anyways, thank you so much for sharing! ❤️. You are FAR ahead of any hater at any time and even though it’s natural to get down about getting judged, you are not in a competition where you have to win their favor. I look on YouTube and whatnot and I mostly ever see the most restrictive diets and mental lifestyles possible, and it’s plain disheartening because I know I can’t do those kinds of diets AND be happy, which you’ve helped teach me is the point of working out. Cassey thank you for sharing your journey. 4.6 out of 5 stars 1,731. It was totally worth it, and there is nothing more important than giving yourself and health 100%. Admittedly, I don’t think Cassey initially did as good as a job differentiating her sense of self from weight loss from the other factors that contribute to her “best self” – but honestly, I think this journey has been helping her with that. So exciting thank you for this push! Its a wonderful thing when you find the person that loves you unconditionally and wants to support you no matter what. I love how open and honest you are.
